After Lin Yu Jing’s parents divorce, she moves to a new city and becomes seatmates with the ill-tempered Shen Juan. They reconnect in university after she’s forced to return to her hometown.
With support from her stepfamily and new friends, Lin Yu Jing adjusts to her new life, while Shen Juan, still struggling with family trauma, slowly heals with her help. She also finds her own path.
